LiquidAgents Healthcare, co-founded by Jenny Hanlon in 2000, emerged with a simple yet impactful message: “Take an assignment with us and get a free laptop.” The response was overwhelming, crashing the company’s phone lines and proving the high demand for nurses—a need that remains as pressing today as it was then.

Hanlon, a 1989 graduate of Texas A&M, serves as Chief Financial Officer and leads a company dedicated to addressing the persistent nursing shortage. Since 2020, LiquidAgents has placed over 20,000 nurses in more than 7,000 healthcare facilities. “Our goal is to help address the nursing shortage,” Hanlon states. “Nurses want to serve, and we help them find places to do that.”

LiquidAgents’ dedication to nursing extends beyond staffing solutions. In 2019, the company established a $150,000 endowed scholarship for nursing students at Texas A&M. This initiative, along with visits to educate students and collaborations to solve rural staffing issues, earned Hanlon the College of Nursing’s Partner in Nursing Award in 2023. Dean Leann Horsley lauded her impact: “Jenny is an honorary Aggie nurse…using her business acumen to help us retain and grow our critical position in health care.”

Most recently, Hanlon launched StaffDNA®, a groundbreaking digital platform that gives healthcare professionals complete job transparency. “This technology puts more money in candidates’ pockets while charging facilities less,” Hanlon explains. “It’s the ultimate win-win.”
